It was the greatest POWER STRIKE EVER. The ball dipped and swerved in a storm of stinky toe cheese. It knocked Polly clear off her feet, into the back of the goal.

“GOAL!” the referee called. He blew his whistle for full time and the crowd cheered.

“What a fantastic football match!” Yuck heard over the loudspeaker. “Three goals each! It’s a draw!”

Polly hung tangled in the net, coughing and spluttering. She screamed at the referee. “I’m supposed to win, you idiot! Why didn’t you stop the match earlier?” She untangled herself then marched over and kicked the referee in the shin.

“Ouch! Polly, that hurt,” the referee cried. “I thought we were friends.”

“Hang on a second. That’s not a referee,” Yuck said. He grabbed hold of the referee’s moustache and it came off in his hand.
